The Cooke Family

We are the Cooke Family, travelling Australia as "The Cookie Van Australia". We have always loved the outdoors and decided one day that our usual weekends away, camping outdoor life, should be everyday life and made the decision to travel Australia full time. This was not an easy decision to make, but it is one we do not regret. We have seen some amazing things while we have been travelling since late 2021.

Sam

Sam is an outdoors man through and through. A carpenter by trade, he is travelling and working at the same time.

Sam enjoys fishing, four wheel driving, camping and outdoor cooking. He loves a campfire chat with good company.

Janelle

Janelle is most at peace in nature. She enjoys hiking, fishing and snorkelling coral reefs. She loves indigenous history and scientific understanding of the natural wonders we see.

Alex

Alex is our bold brave 10 yr. old, who loves fishing and swimming in the ocean. He love animals and learning all about them. He loves cars, particularly four wheel drives and like to get nitty gritty knowledge of how they function. He is obsessed with survival and is teaching himself outback survival at every chance.

He is home schooled at the moment.

Henry

Henry is our little one, at 5, he has spent a big part of his little life on the road. He loves the beach, the bush and the snow. He enjoys building Lego and loves animals. He also likes fishing, four wheel driving and anything with wheels,
